DAY 16 YANGON/BAGAN At approximately 5:00 AM be ready in the lobby of The Strand Hotel in preparation for your transfer to the airport. 6:30 AM Depart Yangon via New Myanmar Airways flight # 641 direct service to Bagan. Total flying time: 1 hour, 20 minutes. Bagan is in many respects the most remarkable city in the world. Here you will find a multitude of temples, thickly studded with pagodas of all sizes and shapes and the very ground is so thickly covered with crumbling remnants of vanished shrines. 7:50 AM Arrive Bagan. After collecting luggage you will be met outside the baggage claim area and escorted to a waiting vehicle for your transfer to a waiting vehicle for your transfer to Bagan. Your driver will be holding a sign marked ‘Your Name’. Enroute to the hotel visit Nyaung-U farmers’ market. Leave your luggage with the bell captain at Bagan Thande Hotel.
