Meals included: Lunch DAY 03 SHANGHAI Meals included: Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner Enjoy the morning at your leisure. At approximately 1:00 PM be ready in the lobby of the Peninsula Shanghai in preparation for an afternoon of exploring. Visit the infamous Bund. Here you will find a maze of alleys and narrow streets, densely populated and always full of activity. The neighborhood evokes an earlier time in China’s history, a time before skyscrapers and high tech. Here specialty shops sell tea, trinkets, and everything in between. Visit the Shanghai Museum, famous for its ancient Chinese art as well as collections of bronze, ceramics, paintings and calligraphy. The Museum’s collection is displayed over five floors, covering a total area of over 420,000 sq. ft. The building itself is designed in the shape of an ancient bronze cooking vessel called a ding. The building has a round top and a square base, symbolizing the ancient Chinese perception of the world as “round sky, square earth”. Overnight: Peninsula Shanghai – Deluxe Room
