It is the birthplace of Chinese culture and was also the ancient capital of 11 dynasties, including the Tang Dynasty (618-907 AD) - China's 'Golden Age'. Here you will find the infamous Terra Cotta Warriors. 1:00 PM Arrive Xi'an, 'City of Everlasting Peace'. After collecting luggage you will be met by your guide outside the baggage claim area and escorted to a waiting vehicle. Your guide will be holding a sign marked ‘Your Name’. Explore the off-the beaten path Yang Ling Han Dynasty Museum. It features amazing pottery miniatures excavated from the Yang Ling Mausoleum. The Yangling Tomb is the resting place of Emperor Jingdi and his wife Empress Wang of the Western Han Dynasty (202BC to 9AD). Excavations of the tomb over the last century have resulted in the unearthing of over 600 color-painted pottery figurines and 4,000 pieces of various cultural relics. The figurines included warriors escorting the imperial chariot, attendants watching over boxes and cases, cattle drovers and clerks.
