DAY 02 ARRIVE BANGKOK Arrive Bangkok, Thailand - one of the most "Oriental" cities in the Asean World. Formerly the fabled Kingdom of Siam, Thailand earns its reputation as "the Land of Smiles". After clearing customs and immigration you will be met by your guide outside the baggage claim area and escorted to a waiting vehicle for your transfer to the Peninsula Hotel. Your guide will be holding a sign marked ‘Your Name’. At the Peninsula Hotel reservations for a Grand Deluxe Room have been confirmed for the following 4 nights. The 39-story Peninsula Bangkok is designed in a W-shaped floor plan, providing river views for each guestroom. The hotel tower sits on a large block, comprising a display lawn, two outdoor dining areas, two tennis courts, and a three-tiered pool stretching more than 50 meters (150 feet), surrounded by a sundeck with deck chairs, umbrellas, and poolside bar.
